McKool Images, Freelance — Johnstown, PA
Owner, Designer
2007 - Current
I began McKool Images as an independent consultant and freelance graphic designer and photographer, providing government contractors, business owners, craftsmen, and community organizations a trusted resource for marketing materials and graphic design.
The projects were diverse ranging from complete Web site design and content organization to exhibit structure design. I have also provided complete branding packages as well as business cards, brochures, posters and infographics. It was rewarding to offer personal service to my clientele while helping them achieve their marketing goals.

The club also includes a restaurant and bar, Trixie’s Pub. I handle all marketing efforts there as well as booking entertainment and coordinating on-site events.
Concurrent Technologies Corporation — Johnstown, PA
Graphic Designer, Project Manager
1997 - 2007
At CTC I was responsible for custom graphics and layout for a variety of different media including websites, video, and printed pieces. I evaluated criteria such as audience, life span of the product and delivery method to ensure the ideal design for the client. I was also responsible for the organization of graphics, navigation and content using accepted methods of information architecture, creating professional, easy-to-use web-based training and informational products.
Additionally I held the role of event coordinator working with clients and partners around the world. My event management role included domestic and international conferences, training events, and a week-long NATO Working Group meeting in Washington DC.
I also served in the role of Project Manager including designating tasks, budgeting projects, overseeing production, addressing process improvement, and client management. The portions of my management responsibilities focused on outreach encompass event planning, publications, and multimedia efforts that support a unified message for multiple communities.
